Social activities will include:
* __July 7, 1815-2100__ -- An all-conference reception immediately proceeding the conference closing at the Dom Muzyka restaurant. Open bar and snacks -- come downstairs to have a pre-dinner drink and time to chat with your fellow conference attendees.
* __July 8:__ afternoon poster reception
* __July 7 & 8__ -- special interest dinners -- self-organize into dinner groups based on common interest. (Sign up below if you are interested in this -- signups and restaurant suggestions will also be on site).
* __July 7, 8 & 9__ -- "the living wiki" -- a special art piece will mysterious and organically appear on-site in the open space. Stay tuned for details.
Wikimania social activities will include:
* July 9, 2000-2200 -- a special concert in the Gdansk Philharmonic
* July 10, 2000-2200 -- Premier of the film ''Truth in Numbers'', about Wikipedia (Gdansk Philharmonic
* July 11, 2000-2300 -- World cup party/afterparty
Informal events will include

!!Special interest dinners
Wikisym attendees are encouraged to form evening dining groups based on common interests. Please sign up here for these self-organized dinners. The WikiSym venue is nearby historic Gdansk, which has a variety of lovely restaurants with outdoor terraces. A list of some restaurants in Gdansk can be found [http://www.inyourpocket.com/poland/gdansk/restaurants-cafes|here].
Being a leader means that you make sure a restaurant is chosen for your dinner and that everyone signed up knows where to go. If you put down a topic you are encouraged to also sign up as the leader, but you don't have to.
